Queen's Program Scholarships

The role of the National Cherry Queen is an integral part of the National Cherry Festival’s proud history. The Queen is a representative of the cherry industry and spokesperson for the National Cherry Festival and Traverse City. During her reign, the Queen travels throughout the State of Michigan and beyond participating in local and statewide festivals, trade shows and special events. Each year the National Cherry Festival awards a total of $12,500 in scholarships to the National Cherry Queen and the final four candidates.
