Montmorency Tart Cherry Pineapple Salsa

Welcome to #28daysofrecipes.  We are celebrating #NationalCherryMonth by sharing 28 of our favorite cherry recipes.

Yield: 3 cups

  • 2 cups frozen Montmorency tart cherries, thawed and chopped
  • 1 cup fresh pineapple, diced
  • 1 jalapeno pepper, minced, seeds and ribs removed for less heat
  • juice of one lime
  • 1/3 cup cilantro, chopped
  • salt to taste
  • tortilla chips for serving
  • baby gem lettuce leaves for serving


Mix all ingredients together in a medium bowl until well combined. Serve with tortilla chips or baby gem lettuce leaves.
